Necklace: Scout | Top: TOBI | Jeans: New York & Co. | Pumps: Target

I wore this ensemble about a week ago, on a beautiful and breezy day. The black v-neck top from TOBI is a great staple piece. I especially love the gold spikes on the shoulders. The necklace was a treasure discovered from one of my favorite local thrifts, Scout. I'm always swooning over gold accessories, so I couldn't resist.

Fashion week has come to an end and the days are getting shorter. These feelings of mine are bittersweet, however I'm happy to witness the sweet transition into the Fall season. I'm so anxious to burry myself under layers upon layers of clothing without breaking a sweat. There are a few staple pieces that I need to scout for; a new coat, ankle boots, and jeans! A nice, durable coat will be my number one fashion investment for the fall/winter.

What fall/winter pieces will you be investing in this year?

  8. Cute! I love how simple this outfit is. I really like how you cuffed your jeans and the necklace is so pretty! It really stands out against the black blouse. I agree, the blouse is such a great staple piece!
