A Tiny Haul

Wednesday, October 2, 2013

Hello, long time no post! I apologize for the wait. I have been mixed up in this thing called life. It's already October and there are so many things to think and decisions to make. Before I ramble on, I'm going to stop myself there. In the spirit of Fall and all things pumpkin scented, I decided to splurge on some boots. Boots are simply one of my favorite staple pieces of the Fall/Winter season.

I'm very happy with both of these. The black ankle boots from Lulus was an instant buy. Once I saw them up on the website, I didn't think twice. I love the cut-out and buckle detailing around the ankle. The buckles provide just the right amount of jingle in my step. Needless to say, I feel like a badass when I wear them. The brown boots from H&M were purchased through my excitement of their online launch and the lack of brown boots in my wardrobe. They also have them in black, if that tickles your fancy. They're easy walk in, but aren't as sturdy as I'd like them to be because of the rubber-like sole. I'm hoping to get plenty of wear out of them before they fall apart.

That's all for now. I'm currently distracted by all of the construction going on outside of my apartment. I never thought I would cringe at the thought of opening my windows during a night of beautiful weather.

  1. Cute picks! Like the Lulus the most I think, they'll look so cute with coats and jumpers when it gets super cold!

  2. the one from lulus are really bad ass looking haha. i saw something similar at That's Heart's youtube channel recently :)

  3. The black ones are definitely my favourite. I would've picked them up straight away too, haha. Hope the construction hurries up for you :)

  4. I definitely agree, boots are such a staple for fall/winter and definitely worth a splurge. Love the two pairs you bought! Love the straps on the black ones. I like how edgy they look. Love the brown ones as well, they seem like the perfect ankle boot for fall. Great picks! : )
