Chicago Mini Haul: LUSH x Topshop

Monday, September 15, 2014

The first immediate question that pops into my mind when it comes to Chicago is "Where am I going to shop first?". The duration of last weekend's trip was spent doing so. Me and five other ladies were sent over to Schaumburg, a suburb on the west side of Chicago to train for H&M. Unfortunately none of us had much time to spend in the city, because of our schedules, but the mall we were working in had everything I needed. Coffee in every corner, LUSH, and a huge Nordstrom. Needless to say, I took a few things home with me.

a. Sunny Side Bar / b. Bubblegum Lip Scrub / c. Pink Bath Bomb

Topshop Jamie Ankle Jeans

I had no idea that Nordstrom had a Topshop department, so it gave me the biggest grin ever when I saw it at the entrance. I have been wanting to pick up a pair of jeans from them because they are incredibly comfortable and fitting. I ended up buying a pair of ankle jeans, for reasons you may not expect. They fit me perfectly as a regular jean, so no trip to the tailor is needed for these babies.

  1. The city I studied abroad in this spring came equipped with a Topshop--just what I needed for some retail therapy on my homesick days. I have five or six Topshop pieces in my closet (minus their jersey V-necks which I essentially live in), and cherish every one. I've been dying to test drive a pair of Jamie jeans--I hear nothing but good things!
I'm glad you got some R&R shopping-wise during your work trip! I can't wait for the store to open!

  2. I am in love with your photography! I don't typically shop at Topshop, since there isn't one nearby, but this post makes me want to go jean shopping there! Followed on GFC (:

  3. Wow.. It seems like we both have something in common. I work for H&M myself. Nice to meet you.

  4. I absolutely live in jamie jeans. the shape is so flattering. I love the high waist and ankle length.
Theyre also so stretchy and comfy! I need a new pair!
