That 60s Girl

Sunday, January 10, 2016

If you've been following me for a while, then you are well-aware that I'm deeply inspired by 60s mod fashion. The fashion influence that made Edie Sedgwick a muse, gave Twiggy those bold baby doe eyes, and gave Bridget Bardot her voluminous hair that made all the boys cry. It was truly a dreamy decade. I love tying all of these details together, but in subtle ways- a colorful shift dress, opaque tights, a pair of cat eyes, and a little hairspray (maybe a bit more than the usual). The dress I'm in is from Hello Holiday. I do believe it's in-store only (if it's still available), so if you're in Omaha, get there asap. The eyelet cut around the waistline made me SWOOOON. It'll be even more darling in the Spring & Summer.

Besides being totally lost in the 60s and the fact that I may have spent my Saturday night binge watching Making a Murderer, Painted Palms has me in a love spell. Go ahead, fall in love..
