... I'll just let the pictures do the talking.
But really, I can't even begin to tell you how in love I am with Colorado. It was worth the 9 hour drive consisting of the most amazing music playlist ever, butt cramps, miles and miles of flat land, and gas stops that landed us in the middle of nowhere (so it seemed). I would do it over again in a heart beat just to get a slice of that beautiful atmosphere.
Denver is a goldmine of murals, so Meg and I went a little crazy. Inspiration for miles. I'm so happy that I brought along my Polaroid camera. The color frames really go hand in hand with the designs that we ran into. I would've taken more, but I was juggling camera equipment all day. It was difficult to capture moments on both and also really be in the moment. I also donated a polaroid to some strangers for taking some pictures for us. I'VE NEVER MET SO MANY FRIENDLY STRANGERS. We accidentally became friends with almost everyone we encountered.
In summary, I loved getting away and being with one of the best friends in an unfamiliar place. Colorado will always have a place in my heart and perhaps someday a place for me. This trip was only but a spontaneous idea that sparked from a cup of morning coffee that led to an adventure. Now onto the next! *sips on coffee*
