Little Invisible ThreadSunday, January 15, 2017
Whenever I meet someone, it's like a little invisible thread immediately ties around our wrists connecting us wherever we end up. Acquaintances, ex loves, family, best friends, etc. Some threads are stronger than others, but whatever you do, you can't break free from them. People walk in and out of our lives for reason's we may not realize. Reason's that may, at the time, seem really insignificant until we connect the dots. You may not see them or even speak to them anymore, but every now and then, you'll think of them and wonder "What if I had never met this person?". I've made a few strong connections within the past year that have turned my world around. One that has really changed me for the better is the friendship that I have with Megan. I haven't even known her for a year, but I feel like we're family. When you find someone who brings out the best in you and lets you be unapologetically you, hold onto them. With the opportunities that have popped up this year, it may distance the both of us, but I'll always be happy to know that whatever happens, that little invisible thread will always be there.
